Does RC love Sabbath?

Masters of Reality>Sabotage>Volume 4>Black Sabbath > Paranoid > Sabbath Bloody Sabbath

Only heard Mob Rules and Heaven and Hell besides those 6.

Sabotage > MoR > Volume 4 > SBS > BS > Paranoid

I've got them all. The Dio albums are great, as is Born Again. I love Cross Purposes

i've loved the first six for a very long time. finally checked out "the other stuff" and they made me feel stupid for ignoring them, because they rock and kicked my ass i thanked them for it

if we're doing this then war pigs is worse than nib

i could probably listen to nib like five more times in my lifetime

I use to hate ozzy's vocals, for years they kept me away from the band. I don't "love" his vocals now, but I do enjoy them somehow. The first six sabbath albums are all phenomenal though, and I could probably listen to songs like Supernaut, Hole in the Sky, Into the Void, etc. for eternity.

i can see where someone today would find it hard to get into sabbath, whatwith ozzy making an ass out of himself on a regular basis, his money whore wife and his two dimbulb kids on constant MTV rotation. his name definitely has a negative stigma these days.

still, no one can argue with the consistent quality the band turned out.

love ozzy sabbath, like dio sabbath, and havent heard the rest. war pigs, paranoid, iron man, and nib are a bit played out by now, i wish the radio would play more songs that are really just as catchy like sweet leaf, lord of this world, into the void, behind the wall of sleep, snowblind, under the sun, etc.

still, no one can argue with the consistent quality the band turned out.

actually ozzy sabbath is like the least consistent band ever

the highs are really high but then there's absolute garbage on every album like changes, am i going insane and fx

changes is probably the single worst song i have in my entire record collection btw, it's so fucking torturous that i've never once been able to sit through the entire thing

it is, but overall, those first six are great music.

even after ozzy the band turned out some belters: born again, mob rules, H&H, Cross Purposes, Tyr, Dehumanizer, Headless Cross are all worth owning. few bands can claim to have such a quality and quantity.

not to mention Iommi, who at 61 still turns out great riffs
