the difference between dictatorship and tolitarianism is that while a dictatorship is at the simplest level a undemocratic form of government,
tolitarianism is a dicatotorship where the goverment tries to take over the private realm (social, personal, lifestyle) in its entirely to a point where there is no Indvidualism, but instead a community of what the tolitarianism goverment believes people should be like.

my question is . does society and people within subject itself to a unoffical form of tolitarianism?

think about it. Around half the people into what is popular and what is the norm in society seem to be only into it as they see acceptance as a justifable liefe goal to reach for by any means. they will supress any thoughts outside what they believe to be acceptable and frown on those who are not the norm. Ironically the majority of these will never acheive total acceptance by those they aspire to be like. they will also be one step behind the alpha males and females both those they see in the street and those they look up to via the media.

another Irony is that most of those subculture outside the norm instead of rejected its facistic outline just construct another norm with only slight difference from the majortity norm.
