Here's a nice toe tapping diddy the bass player and I just recorded.
For the guitars, I used my Carvin 727 through a Mark III. I put an ADA-MP1 in the loop to see how it sounded with the Mark III pushing it. That was plugged into an Orange 4x12 and miced with a 57 and a D112. Double tracked it, one track hard left and the other hard right.
For the bass, the bassist used a Fender 5 string through an Orange Thunderverb 250 through the same Orange cab. He ran it on channel B and it too was miced with a 57 and a D112.
Drums are DFHS with some random Reason stuff as well.
