I prefer fridays for Charlie Andrews and Zed cause there's no 'NU Shite' ever then. Doom & Co sometimes is ok too.

NO I NEVER HAVE. BUT IF THERE IS ANY ROCK SHOWS LATER ON IN THE EVENING. COULD YOU LET ME KNOW. I TAKE YOU YOU LOT DONT LIKE NU METAL THEN. I THINK SOME OF ITS PRETTY GOOD. IT PUSHES METAL TO FRONT OF THE NAITIONAL LISTENING. THIS MEANS OLDER BANDS WILL DO WELL NEWER BANDS ARE ALWAYS NAME CHECKING THE OLD STUFF. MOST OF YOU WILL REMEMBER THE OLD METALHEADS THINKING NWOBHM WAS SHIT BUT HOW WRONG COULD THEY HAVE BEEN.

I like Nu metal wilks. A lot of it is total shit, but there is some good stuff out there too. I think a lot of this rapping/DJ stuff is rubbish. But having said that, Linkin Park's 'Hybred theory' and Limp Bizkit's 'Chocolate starfish' are two absolutely superb albums. And apart from Saxon, the two best gigs I went to last year was Linkin Park at Brixton and London arena.
Papa Roach and Sugarcoma I like too. Saw INME support Sugarcoma and they were superb. But then saw them headline Camden and they wern't so good. Especially as it only lasted for 45 minutes!

I like a lot of newer Metal bands but most of the nu stuff isnt Metal in thed true sense. Limp biscuit linkin park and the like appears to be about image and fashion more than the music. New bands are important though, Saxon were new once upon a time!

Yeah totally agree with you Conquistador. But some of the music is pretty good, but as you say, all the other stuff (image/fashion etc) is bollox.

I think I sort of agree with Conquistador, I like New Metal! Bands like Powerquest, Dragonforce, Intense, Infobia, Shadow Keep are all relatively new in the uk and they all play with a traditional but new modern sound.
I could never be a nu metal fan though simply because my jeans fit me and the only time I wear a dog lead is when I'm walking a dog!

Nice to see that we all kinda agree. I'v not got enough hair left to be a follower of image music.
ITS GOOD TO HEAR WHAT YOU ALL THINK. I SAW DEM CHAPS WITH SILLY MASKS AND BOILER SUITS AND I WASNT SCARED.THEY WERE FUN TO WATCH BUT THEY ONLY HAD ONE SONG. WHIICH WAS JUST OK.SOME OF THE UK CROSSOVER STUFF CHECK OUT SMAK DADDI(DANCE,PUNK,RAP,METAL) BENDER,KING PRAWN THEY ARE THE BEST BANDS AROUND IF YOU KIND FIND THE STUFF.
OH I FOR GOT. IF YOU CAN FIND ANYTHING BY BLAGGERS I.T.A. THEN CHECK THEM OUT. ALTHOUGH THEY NO LONGER EXIST (MATTY BLAG O.D. ON SMAK SO I HEARD).THE SONGS HAVE STOOD THE TEST OF TIME. NONE OF THE SO CALLED PUNK CROSSOVER STUFF COULD EVAN GET CLOSE TO THEM THEY WILL REMAIN ONE OF THE GREATEST BANDS EVER,HARDLY ANY BAND HAS CHANGED THE WAY I SEE MUSIC AND DARE I SAY THE WORLD AS MUCH AS THEM.
