Although it says in the Opeth FAQ that the 5 second sample at the start of Demon of the Fall has not yet been answered to be any song in reverse, does anyone have an idea of what it might be? Something to do with the concept of the album perhaps?

i thought i saw in an interview he just said it was something where a tape messed up while they were recording, but they just kept it...

who knows though, he's been known to have different answers to the same silly questions before (can't blame him, i'd probably be the same way if i got asked the same shit in every interview )


EDIT: i just listened to that clip though, and it does definitely sound like it was taken from another song, so who the hell knows haha
