Download studio version of Wildest Dreams here...

It sounds 'odd'. Maybe I'm just not used to hearing Maiden with a good mix, I don't know.

I'm also a little disappointed it's made it to the net already, even though it's really only a small sample. I'd hate to see the album leaked onto the net weeks before the release date.

I do quite like the sound on BNW, but the guitars here do have a cool tone with more punch, and the drums are better. It sounds like the production/sound will fit the mood of the songs well, if the recent reviews posted are any indication of the vibe of the songs. Bruce sounds great, and the song seems like a cool and catchy simple rocker. Roll on DoD.

simple rocker. !

And how bloody long have we fans been waiting for that? We havn't really had a 'simple rocker' since Holy Smoke!!

Yeah I certainly won't be downloading anymore than that, but given that the live version has already been doing the rounds, and the band themselves don't frown on it I thought I could live with it.

I am very impressed with what I have heard so far though...VERY impressed.

Apparently everyone who has heard Rainmaker on the listening bus, reckoned it was heaps better than Wildest Dreams which is promising, cos' I really dig WD.

I'm looking forward to hearing Montsegur, Dance Of Death, Paschendale, and Journeyman. The reviews written about them really have me excited, and now that I know Caveman and 'Arry got the sound/mix spot on I think this really could be one of their best ever.

This song rocks!! The good simple rockers are what has been missing from Maiden! I mean, why is the whole 82-85 era regarded as their "Classic" stuff??? Because of songs like Flight Of Icarus, Run To The Hills, Number Of The Beast, Aces High, Two Minutes To Midnight, The Trooper, etc... the catchy singalong rockers!!!!

Couple of minutes? This goes for 3:54! Certainly sounds like the whole song to me! I guess they replaced it...

I think this is the best Maiden song since... umm... Wasted Years. Yes, that'll do. Best in a LONG time, and this is from someone who loves 80% of the stuff they've done since SIT.

WOOOO  Now I'm even more excited. Excellent songs. Very excellent. Maybe not the best since whenever, because there's better stuff on BNW, but the better stuff on BNW isn't as catchy and punchy and rocky.

And for a "simple rocker" it's pretty complex with all of the guitar parts doing different things. Sounds to me like they're finally getting their money's worth from three guitars.

When I first downloaded it, t'was only half way through the second verse and it ended. I then downloaded a second time and then it was like most of the song, not sure what happened there.
