DR DDTs anyone tried them out?

Any of you guys tried the DDTs?

I'm looking for the ultimate(for me) gauge for Drop C tuning and I was thinking of giving the 11s a try, they seem kinda light on the low strings though.

So what's your impressions, how do they feel, intonate, sound etc...

Been using them since they came out on guitar and bass. Go for 60 on the low strings for drop C or even lower.

The thing is that the set with the .60 has a .52 for the A. Since I'm tuning CGCFAD, I think a .52 will be way to tight compared to the other strings.

How's the feel on them? Do they feel tighter or looser compared to other strings?

I used to like those. They seemed to go rusty/nasty on me quicker than other brands though.

I was gonna try a set of these yesterday but guitar center only sells them in packs of 3. Didn't really wanna buy 3 sets of strings ive never heard b4.

about 60. strings, does anyone know if these fit sperzel locking tuners holes!?

I used them a while ago, was pretty pleased with them but moved to custom sets of Newtone strings now and they kick ass!

I tried the 11s eventually. They are fucking great! Excellent clear sound and great intonation. Nothing beats lighter strings for clarity IMHO...

The unwound G is also great, not like that horrible one that EB has on the Not Even Slinkys pack.
