Drag me to hell

I never did get a chance to see Wall-E. I do want to see Up a lot. Won't get to see Drag Me To Hell this weekend, we're going camping down near Aberdeen, WA on the beach. But the next weekend, we're hoping to catch it.

Does TED Raimi make an appearance at least? Love to see his overacting ability put to good use in a death scene.

I just saw it. It was incredible. You have to be familiar with Raimi's back catalogue to really appreciate this. Also, there's so many Evil Dead-isms it's ridiculous. Even down to chick's "I'm gonna get some!!" line near the end.

Saw UP friday, it was fantastic! I can't really say if I liked Wall-E better or not, I really dug the Sci-Fi stuffages in Wall-E. But the talking dogs in UP were really funny. Both are equally great I'd say.
I'm going to see Drag me to Hell after work today.

I was a little underwhelmed with Up, though the drive-in theatre isn't exactly the ideal location for any movie really. Up just seemed so linear - it went exactly where it went, no where else. The whole thing was a little far fetched, even for Pixar though maybe I need another view, maybe in 3D.

Unfortunately I have learned not to get excited about his films anymore....

But I will probably still go see it.

Dan, yeah Up was pretty good! the whole talking collar dog thing was just hilarious. No where near the brilliance of WALL-E but a lot of fun regardless! Funny how the movie starts out semi-dark and sad and ends all happy. i guess Disney is following this formula now.

Jeez, did Sam Raimi travel back in time to 1985, where he announced to his 80's self that he was a rich and famous director from the future, only to have said 80's self kill the future rich and famous director, return to the future and take his place where he and Ivan wrote and later directed Drag Me To Hell?

Drag me to hell, had the overall look, camera moves, direction, sound and (mainly) FX from Evil Dead 2. Funny, damn movie. Twas entertaining, but no Bruce.

Bruce would have stolen the show with a cameo, so I don't really mind that he wasn't in it.

fat m night shymalayan made up for it though

I've seen it multiple times now....there are SO many little things you miss the first time you see it...and the standout scenes become even better...and OMFG how hot is she covered in mud and a tight wet t-shirt at the almost ....end I am now afraid of old women with dentures
