Dream COB Setlist

I'm having a hangover morning so what about an imaginary shake-up of the COB live setlist. Don't care about any limits, it's obvious a band needs to play the hit-songs and the new songs, and they also like to play songs that necessarily don't sound good or they don't like to play but a lot of fans recognize and go crazy, the drummer can't have ten fast songs back to back and they can't switch guitars between every song... Just type the kind of setlist you'd most like to see live.

Also, if you have a particular light theme in mind for a song, add the color accordingly. One thing that's bothered me is they sometimes don't stick to natural light themes, for example they could have rainbow colors for Follow the Reaper and it's all a big mess and feels similar to other songs unless the listener is familiar to their discography.

I guess most fans would like to see a lot of songs that are not played live, if they had the chance to create a dream setlist, so don't just list all the Needled, Angels, IYF etc, nobody will care to read. Let's use just 14 songs, 16 is too many... I know this thread has probably existed for multiple times but things change and so on... Something I came up with:

My idea is to to start off and hammer out the really in your face songs for the first bit then start slowing down into atmospheric bodom until the encore where they return to two more face melters.

Wouldn't it be cool if they had tour for every 2 or 3 albums? For example they tour Europe and play only songs from SW and HB. Or SW, HB and FTR. Then they can move with the trash thing and make another tour for that.

Kissing the Shadows could be an interesting opener. It's such a deep and interesting song with different emotions and several highlights; it has those 'ending drawing near' feelings (natural final song), but that's also what makes it a weird opener, but there's different feelings too.

It's interesting to think which songs could be interesting when played back to back, the transition always creates different chemistry.

It came like lightning out of clear sky, I thought about KTS as an interesting opener, and how nicely Roundtrip to Hell and Back would fit as the following song, just a quick guitar change during the keyboard/bass that leaves humming after the last notes, and keep it humming as the melody of RtHaB begins to play thru the 'fog' and then join in with the strings. It's not just the transition moment, but the chemistry keeps affecting for a full minute or so before you forget about the previous song.

Many songs can lose their touch and momentum if the previous song has a wrong kind of vibe, that's why playing with the order of the setlist (or songs of an album) can make big difference.

Thing about the opener is it's basically the only pure song unaffected by the chemistry of the song before. You can affect it with intro however like they do with Not My Funeral with the intro transition which works nice.

KTS wouldn't be a bad choice for finishing the gig also.

I think that In the Shadows would be the best closing song, leaving the crowd so affected that several suicides would follow after the magic of the ending.
