First off, the kings of all prog-metal Dream Theater have a brand new album called OCTAVARIUM. Many Dream Theater fans are calling this a return to form for the band, so we decided we needed to feature it on the show. We'll do a New Music Listening Party for OCTAVARIUM, and we're trying to lock down someone from the band on the show as well.
Additionally, since we're on the topic of Dream Theater, we've discovered that they had a vocalist before James LaBrie. That's right...his name was Charlie Dominici, and he's back with a new album. Charlie's O3: A TRILOGY PART 1 is far different than what you would expect from Dream Theater - then and now. We'll bring you his new album and will catch up with Charlie to talk about the DT days as well as his new music.
