So what is the song "Voices" about? Someone once told me it is about bipolar disorder but I really dont see how that fits the lyrics at all....\

Also, what's the deal with the samples played on Space Dye Vest. Not the first one, but the second set of samples where the guy is talking about the temperature in Houston and dry heat and shit. I hate that, I think it ruins the impact of an otherwise good song. What do these samples have to do with the emotional nature of the song?

The song "Voices" is about wankery. The band wanted to write a song where they could play stupidly technical and emotionally lacking music to impress the legions of nerds that love that kinda bullshit.

SDV has always had samples, and i don;t read lyrics

Well.... yeah..I mean, not to sound like an ass but duh. Of course it's always had samples, I didn't put them in there myself....I'm not really sure what that added to the thread.

The samples are more for atmosphere than anything. I think when Kevin Moore was composing SDV, he probably liked the sound of the samples more than what they were actually saying. Just my two cents.
