Ohhhhhh the memories of the drive-in. Many a steamed up car window night spent there, watching....... hell I never watched a single movie.

There's a drive-in somewhat near me in West Chicago that I've only been to maybe twice. Perhaps this will motivate me to go this summer. The only other one I'm even aware of is in Gibson City like 2 hrs south. Sure hope these things never completely disappear.

I was just thinking about the old Drive In's we used to have around here. I spent a good portion of the 70's and early 80's enjoying outdoor movies....I wish someone would bring one back here. We used to have about 6 or 7. sigh. I win lotto, it's on my list!

....then there was this one time....at the Drive In.....I got lost coming back from the bathroom during Up In Smoke....took me and a friend at least 20 minutes to find the damn car.....our friends were in hysterics as they saw us wandering around....must have been the Mescal we were drinking...:zombie:

I think there's one down by Montgomery/North Aurora, which is WAY closer than Gibson City.

We went to the one in West Chicago last year to see Transformers with a bunch of car club people. The one guy tuned in the station that played the audio and cranked his stereo. A movie like that needs subwoofer.
