Yo.

I was looking into drum replacement for some time, getting bored with DFHS's sounds.

It sounds to me that Drumagog is a Memory Murderer, so if I wanted to grab samples of say Kick, Snare, and Toms, and Blend them in, or just on there own, would I have to run an instance of Drumagog on EACH channel (ala' 6-7 instances)?

Wouldn't that grind my system to a screeching halt, or should I go fuck myself?

I'm running about 7 instances of Drumagog on my current mix project and it's fine. In a perfect world I would've used Drumtracker (yes yes I know, I'm kinda sold on it now too) then printed the Drumagog samples to audio and not be taking up any memory at all. Sometimes though you have to rush through and do things on-the-fly.

Oh, Drumtracker... I understand that. Yea I've done that for live drums with Sonar Midi whatever-it's-called.
