I'm trying to replace the kick and snare with samples provided by the very generous Black Neon Bob (and Andy).

I get DFHS up and running fine. Okay.

Then I solo the snare and kick separately to record tracks (because sending doesn't work at all for some reason).

I enable instances of drumagog on each respective track, and now DFHS has disappeared from the MIDI inputs list. WTF? I get a nice sounding kick and snare, but everything else is gone.:erk: Do I have to record tracks of everything else before I use drumagog?

I'm using an ancient "borrowed" version of Nuendo, (but I plan on buying Cubase 4 as soon as they have compatibility with Direct X).

Well, some people can be EXTREMELY touchy about that sort of thing. And they have every right to be pissed off too. Here they spend all kinds of money on expensive software, and people can just download it. I am still learning though, and I've not made any money from recording. So it's okay.....kind of.

But that just doesn't make sense to eliminate DX support on Cubase 4. :(
