i'm on the hunt for some free, good quality, processed or unprocessed, multi-sampled drum shells and cymbals. more interested in the shells though! legal only please!

I would use the search function, and like Tommy said, I'd check out the sneap forum too, there's all kinds of samples floating around there. You're most likely gonna find .wavs, maybe .gogs if you do some hunting, so keep that in mind for your workflow. signalsaudio.com has some good drum sample sets for very low prices.

Yeah that erkan collection is sweet then just scroll for a few latest pages to search for topics "free snar samples" etc. Also i've found that a sample called snare4u was pretty sweet. Maybe it's still out here?
