What sampler and setup? I have an Akai S3200XL that I have never used for anything.

actually I don't use any sampler, I load the AKAI version on Nuendo

I am not gonna lie

The LM-7 sounds better to me and thats a pretty crapo vsti that comes with nuendo/cubase. Also the ride seems to be at the same velocity all the way through (machine gun effect). Bass drum lacks any power. Toms sound digital as fuk. All in all it's really kind of bad that east west even allowed this version.
