Finally something of note hits this favela of my dismay.
No bands confirmed as of date, but I have high hopes! Crossing my fingers that it's held at the same warehouse in coonerville as last year's installment!

In Los Angeles's there's only one true death/black metal festival and that's Gathering of the Bestial Legion. Iron Room brings back the festival for it's 5th incarnation in 2011 and will deliver the Los Angeles Die Hards another uncompromising death/black assault. Confirm headliner thus far is AUTOPSY….. Many more bands will be announced in the next few weeks. Two stages, 15 bands, all ages all day metal event…."
It's about damn time something decent springs up in these graffiti marked woods. The last show I attended in L.A was Rotting Christ/ Melechesh, and while the music was enjoyable, it lacked that gritty vibe found at certain gigs. GotBL IV, had that raw, unbridled filth factor which does heinous music proper ceremony. The fifth installment of the aforementioned festival of ear sex will have Autopsy headlining. Their latest has been getting some solid reviews, and I myself have liked the scant tracks that I have heard. Up the irons, and pass the sloppy joes, this neck needs nutrients to bang!
