Hi UM-ers! I was having a look for some good impulse responses for cab simulations and found some great resources here on the Ultimate Metal forums so thought I should join.
By way of introduction I write all sorts of DSP algorithms, mostly analog modelling stuff, and run my own boutique plugin company called Cytomic. I'm just finishing off the worlds most detailed and customisable Tube Scream stomp box emulation called The Scream, and I've getting audio examples and videos together to show it off, and would appreciate some input from you guys on getting a great metal tone ITB.
This is kinda half self promotion as I think some people here may be interested in buying the plugin, but I would also like some tips on how people use ts808 / ts9 / ts9dx in metal, and which mods they like to do to them. Is this sort of discussion appropriate for a forum here at the UM web page? If so can someone please let me know where is best to post?
