Anyone else agree with me here? I think the guys could try a little harder to keep it updated and fresh. I know they're busy and shit, but it's not that hard to appoint someone the task of maintaining your website for you and then keeping them up to date with ideas, new lyrics, news, competitions, scheduled chats etc etc.... Come on guys!!

IMHO it looks fine.

I sure would prefer them to be busy making music than busy maintaining the site :D

Just one point: I would like them to sell some shirts (preferably girlie ones) in their site :D :p :D

The D.T. website isn't that borning. Maybe a little more updates would be nice, perhaps pix and soundbites of the recording session. Other than that, the music is more important.
 
Hey IR welcome to the show!
I figure at the moment especially as the band is in recording that there isn't all that much to actually update. I think that it'll happen more often afterwards. Wouldn't you get sick of Nov 4: recording studio, Nov 5: still in the recording studio...Nov 16: yep, you guessed it! :)
Although, gotta admit, wouldn't mind some competitions...
 
Hi,

I agree that there could be a bit more activity on the homepage, but I try to update it whenever something relevant happens, and for the last couple of months we've only been focusing on writing songs for the new album. As soon as there are any news (album details, upcoming gigs/tours etc etc), I'll post them on the website. During the songwriting stage there isn't that much to report.

That said, it's a bit lame that the page still is based on the "Projector" theme, and that I've said that a new version is "on the way" for 2 years now, but it all boils down to lack of time...But there _will_ be a totally new homepage online when the album is out, and there will definately be some reports from the studio session. Also, the FAQ is almost finished (to be proof-read by Dr. Villain of course) - so things will happen soon. :)

Yep, sure Niklas, we know the web's work is going on, I think that inverted reflection is indeed inverted, and quite unpolite. You know the hard work that is needed when you wish to make a right design on a web? And you believe Niklas and the guys will compose, write, play and record an album, paying attention to all these female fans hungry of sex... and having time enough to update the web?!

Maybe they'll dance a russian typical dance in the live shows too...
 
anyways, your focus shouldn't be the homepage. i like the current layout as it is, and apart from adding essential information like tour dates etc. stick to other priorities: the vixens and the music!

Hedon, just gotta say I thought the site was pretty cool as is, and I think its very cool you take such an interest in whats going on. Kudos!!!

a little merchandise could be nice indeed, now that you mention it. it's hard to find any decent clothing stuff with your favourite bands on it.
or did you license your stuff to some mailorder?
 
Well, I'd like the personal faves pages to be updated....Your playlists and fyvourite booze-lists are way too old;-):...

Also: Get more pix on that page, I always find it fascinating to browse through band pix!
 
well that's it I just prefer the way it is....is something special to me when are bandmembers who take care of all the stuff...For me it is so special that Niklas takes care of the website and follows the forum...we get the info just from within....No offense with F.Kreem but I guess that IF fans would prefer to be Jesper the one to provide directly the news...well I guess....they're odd however!

my points to the website??? well the ones have been listed here...Some merch and cd store and well if it has been licensed I guess the ones who licensed won't complain getting some stuff on the official site (check www.jordanrudess.com , there you can get everything the dude has done....that's what I neeeeeed here ;) )

well some vixens would be great to give some color to the site but I guess that should just been taken as some sort of inspiration for the music's sake! (cough cough)

Yeah right! The name of the thread was to draw attention in order to provoke discussion on what I believe to be a fair and interesting point. If you took your head outta Niklas' ass for long enough you might see that. :eek: Impolite? I dont think so! Just an opinion.
