Seymour Duncan Wiring Diagram for 2 humbuckers with 1 volume knob, 1 tone knob, and a 3 way selector.
My question is... on the volume pot, it shows one of the connectors is bent up and soldered on top of the pot. Could I just solder a bit of wire to the connector and attach that to the top of the pot instead of bending the connector in case I ever want to take the pickup out and use it in a different guitar with a different configuration?
Logically, I cant see why this would be a problem but for you guy with more experience and/or knowledge in this department I'd appreciate some educated feedback and any particular reason(s).
Thanks!!!
