dude I used to MUD with missing presumed dead in New Orleans

so on the MUD i played during my misspent youth (95-99) there was a whole contingent from new orleans--they even formed their own clan for a while. i was internet-friends with a lot of them and met a few and when i went down to NO one of them came and hung out and hooked us up with drugs and stuff both years we were down there.

obviously all of them got totally fucked by katrina but while most have gotten word out, i guess this one dude (who I actually PKed once, I think) is now presumed dead--they've gotten people out of his area and he hasn't turned up, his family, friends, no one's heard from him, etc.

now i feel really bad about looting the dude's xena sword.
