Dumb midwestern corporation: "Happy Cinko Dee Mayonnaise, Y'ALL!"

she also captured a Jane's Addiction shirt with the cover of Ritual de la Habitual printed on it, and we thought it had met the same fate, but i found it at the bottom of a closet under sock hats and gloves a few years later.

Fortunately I never had a phase where I thought Deicide was good.

Funny shirt story.
My friend Brian bought the Pantera shirt with a huge pot leaf on it in 7th grade and wore it to school, not knowing that the plant picutured was in fact a marijuana leaf.
When we told him, he walked around school all day with his arms crossed and then changed into his smelly gym shirt and wore that all day.

another good high school t-shirt story is when toby, byron, and i went to the sting in the summer of 1995 i believe it was to go see tiamat, black sabbath, and motorhead.

we couldn't get in because we weren't 21 yet but the bouncers were cool with us just hanging around watching the show from outside.

we also were able to walk around in back of the club a bit and i remember i was wearing a white t-shirt and didn't want to meet Lemmy wearing a white t-shirt so i went home and frantically changed into a proper metal t-shirt and got back in time for the end of motorhead's set and i got to meet lemmy and get his autograph.

however, in the time it took me to get changed, toby and byron had not only met tiamat but also got to hang out on their tour bus which i missed out on because i was dumb. oh well.

So much just for Lemmy...
I've never really had a problem with risque shirts, though I've been asked many times why the fellow (Ihsahn) on the back of my Emperor shirt looks like an evil witch knight or something.

i recall something similar where my friend went to the at the gates/dissection show while i was studying for finals, and he met ATG and hung out on their tour bus/got stuff autographed. same guy came backstage when NovDoom played with amorphis/opeth at the chicago House of Blues, and he was the only one of all of us (including guys in ND) with the guts/audacity to go seek out amorphis' dressing room to say HI.

i told him not to mention he knew us. he went into opeth's room just as peter was coming out of the shower in nothing but a towel. did he leave? no. continued to ask to shake his hand. gotta love him.

SUM(chupe's buddy's scruples) = 0

LOL! I remember that man! He was like a kid in a candy store that day! haha!

he did practically the same thing with amorphis when he was in finland once- he ended up backstage there, and took some pictures with the band. he joked about asking them in chicago if they remembered him or not.

Dear Office Diversity Team:

Thank you so much for your celebration of Asian/Pacific Heritage month. Your sponsoring of our luau today cleared up many misconceptions I have long harbored regarding asians and polynesian types.

I had hitherto been unaware that natives of the south pacific rowed for many miles in flimsy outrigger canoes to acquire their traditional delicacies, namely, hot dogs and potato salad.

Once again, thanks for spanning the massive gulfs between my knowledge of far away peoples and the truth.
