Hey, I like St. Anger.

If you can get past the horrible production, the trash can drums, and the occasional spike in Hetfield's voice, it really is a decent album.

My view - it's an EXCELLENT 40-minute album trapped inside a 75-minute album. Take out My World and Shoot Me Again, shorten St. Anger to 2 and a half minutes, and chop about 15 minutes worth of unneccessary repetitive crap off the rest, and you've got a very, very good grunge-metal-core-random-shit album.

A GOOD ALBUM DOES NOT NEED THINGS CUT OUT. A good album should be able to stand on it's own as a whole. For fuck sakes, you have to go out of your way to make the album TOLERABLE.
