Hey guys!
Finally got time to mess around with my e-kit module a bit more.
I have two kick pads that were simply doing my head in (one pad, one mesh) so I just dampened a 22" kick I have here and put a ddrum kick trigger on it.
I just recorded a very quick fill kinda beat, left it un-quantised - really I just want your opinions on the pad sensitivity I've set on the module so far.
If anyone wants other examples, just let me know and I'll record 'em.
By the way, this is SD2.0 default.

Niall.

Looking at the MIDI file in my DAW the levels are maxing at 127 very often on the toms.
The pads are a bit too sensitive on toms IMO (especially the floor tom)

Yeah, those pads are the rubber kinda ones, very difficult to pull dynamics out of those. I'll give it another shot later.

Would you mind uploading a midi with you playing Jeff's Rose of Sharyn? I'm really curious about how off a real drummer would be on something like that. I've never really done off-grid programming, it has always just sounded out of time when I've tried it.
