What A Horrible Night To Have A Curse
Well other than the thin guitar tone, that kicks ass. Is this what I've been missing out on all these years? I listened to Once Upon the Cross once when it first came out and it did nothing for me.
For some reason that's the tone they go after... kinda like some BM bands that purposely try to make their guitar sound like it's coming through one 6x9 speaker that's shorting out.

I just got through listening to some 30-second samples over at Earache. Wow, some of this is really good from what I can gather. Just re-read PJ's review as well, and I'm tempted. The lead guitar work and double-vocals on "Scars of the Crucifix" in particular sound really amazing...bordering Vital Remains quality.
