Generic black metal is changing? Or were they incredibly experimental and proggy on their previous albums and decided it was all too hard? Because black metal is certainly a wide ranging unrestrictive genre to start with as well.

Just because Astriaal are Australian doesnt mean you should kiss their ass. They are good but not that good. Its very very predictable black metal. DB have more variety in one song than there is on a whole Astriaal album!

Generic black metal bands don't do soft passages without keyboards. Astriaal do.

They also don't have fans who listen to Sum 41.
