Just got this in my email:

ARCHIVE DELAYED - Eddie's Archive release has had to been delayed slightly
because of the complexity of the casket. The manufacturers have incurred
horrible production delays and thus the release of the Archive has had to
go back - hopefully to the 18th November, but we'll confirm this nearer the
date.

IRON MAIDEN’s website posted the following new piece recently. The band will be featured in two major game releases before Xmas. “First is Tony Hawks Pro Skater 4 released by Activision which not only has the track ‘The Number Of The Beast’ blasting while you're pulling your best

tricks but also has Eddie making a very special appearance as a Hidden playable Character in the game. You will also be able to select from various Iron Maiden board designs to drop into what is described as the Ultimate Skateboarding challenge. Available on PS2, X Box, Gamecube and PC. This will no doubt be a big game this Xmas. Release date is November 22. Following up is the Grand Theft Auto: Vice City released by Rock Star Games. Known for it's controversial history and violence this is 4th installment of the GTA series and includes '2 Minutes to Midnight' in the

soundtrack while you go around the city environments unleashing your own personal chaos! Available on all formats November 8th.

Still in two minds about the box set. I spent hours online downloading all those damn B-sides because I couldn't find them anywhere else and now I'm supposed to be excited about buying them?

Live stuff is a different beast altogether (ha!). I hope they'll re-release it separately one day.

All the b-sides were on one of the many rereleases of the albums a few years ago, including Maiden Japan in its entirety.

Speaking of b-sides, I really don't like "Total Eclipse". It rules on "12 Wasted Years" but the studio version is just slow and plodding. I feel a bit ill listening to it, like when you're driving much slower than you need to.

Whats the cheapest price anyone has been quoted for Eddie's Archive?

I've had three prices quoted, ranging from $180 down to $155. I think $155 is a reasonable price....i am starting to think i might get it. :D

I was surprised that the two times i rang Utopia in the last couple of days, they had no f'n idea!
