Keep in mind that the Eddie's Archives boxed set it $100 and a numbered limited edition of 25,000, and Edward the Great is a greatest hits:

The sales for ETG aren't that good (bands that are on independent labels or club bands doing their own releases have had better sales), but then again, it's probably a good thing that people that are buying it are probably doing so for a stocking stuffer. Since there isn't any new material on the CD, it's really only for the collectors.

yeah, ETG sales aren't that good, but it is a greatest hits, and Metal greatest hits without any kind of bonus track or unreleased anything, don't tend to do that well...
I do have ETG, and I would definitely recommend it to a new Maiden fan, and even to old Maiden fans (not Dianno fans since the poor chap's era got overlooked)... the remastering is brilliant... I got chills from the Vincent Price part on NOTB...
