Edwards Les Paul

I'm sitting here just waiting to pull the trigger on this:

But with my small student budget I'm kinda cautious about buying a guitar I haven't tried yet.
Do anyone have any experience with Edwards Les Pauls?

Yeah never heard anything but good things about Edwards, killer looks as well. I'd say go for it.

I bought mine new from Ishibashi in Japan, used them on a ton of recordings and some tours, then I got endorsed by another company and sold them. Kinda miss the black LPC I used to have

The wood it's made out of is just meh. Had an Edwards LPC 2 years ago and it resonated like shit - never got into it because of that. Always sounded dead.

I used to have one of these, but in Sunburst. Awesome guitars, but for the new price from Japan, I wouldn't buy one. They are really cool... but for a bit more, you could get a Gibson LP Standard, which is a better guitar IMO.

I actually sold mine because I got a Gibson BFG, which I like the feel and sound of better. Doesn't look nearly as good as the Edwards did, though.

My uncle had one of these, it sounded a bit dead, not much, but after he changed the bridge and the tailpiece it was sounding perfect.
