Hey guys, I recently learned about Electri6ity and was so excited that I went and spent my money on it...
Little did I know the lowest tuning is C.
Now, I'm severely disappointed because I'm not trying to make pop punk, I'm trying to make metal. With super low tunings.
So, how can I go about making the tuning lower artificially?
I use Cubase for writing music, the guitar midi track chain would be something like this:
Electri6ity DI [VSTi] > TSS > AMPSIM > LeCab
To detune, I should make the chain:
Electri6ity DI [VSTi] > Pitch Shift > TSS > AMPSIM > LeCab
Right?
Another problem, and I do apologize for the severe stupidity, is that I know almost nothing about music theory so I'm not sure by how many semitones, cents, or whatever I'm supposed to down tune, to go from C to G.
If anybody could help, I would greatly appreciate it..
