Couldn't agree more.But at least it exposes the band to people who otherwise wouldn't hear them.

But yes I hate Gaytar Hero and Rock Band. Sure there fun with friends occassionally, but they are NOTHING like real guitar at all. The drums are complete bullshit too. Why put Painkiller in Rock band two if you can't even do the fucking double bass? And half of those fuckin pussies playing the game can barely run, let along scream like Halford can. It's just pointless. They even had a death metal song in there called Visions I think, not sure though but it was death metal.
And I heard about a new "bass" controller for Rock Band 2 or Guitar Hero, whatever one. They're making it a bit bigger for a real bass look, they added (pointless) tuner knobs for more realism, and the strum bar is divided into two so you can get some Geezer/Harris two or three finger work in there.
My point is, if your making something THAT real, go buy the fucking real instrument. Then you'll actually have some dignity left afterwards and won't get called a fag because you can play "expert"
And oh my lord, what about the people that actually think the songs in it are NEW????? "Hey'd you hear that new song Raining Blood? It's sooooo awesome!" What the fuck is that all about? And I just CAN'T stand people that know a band or song ONLY from Guitar Hero/Rock Band. Makes them an instant poser in my eyes and want to crush them.
I used to play Guitar Hero a lot, but then I learned to play guitar, and now Guitar Hero fucking sucks. It's boring and NOT fun at all.
Does anyone else here want to hurt people when they say they can play drums on expert one more time? I do.
