Electronic Drumset help

Hey, I am thinking about getting an electrninc drumset for practice and so i can play in my Apt.

I have played 1 set and I really liked it. It was some kind of Yamaha.

I am looking for something decent in the 1,000 dollar price range.

Can anyone give me some tips or suggestions. thanks

if you are looking for silent play, go with one of rolands mid-line sets over yamaha. You'll notice that the yamaha pads are actually quite loud...the roland mesh does not have this problem, and i find their sets to be more responsive regardless.
