Sup guise! I'm working on an electronic hard rock/trance album with a local singer. We're tossing ideas back and forth, and then I play and record it. My first foray into more poppy kind of stuff so I'm not sure if I'm playing too many notes or whatever. She's really picky and critical, much like myself, so that might ensure whatever turns out might be listenable. She's into grunge, but I just can't bring myself down to using such a shitty mess of a tone, rofl. And I can't play rock or grunge to save my life, there is more to it than 3 chords or whatever, there is a certain attitude to the music which I am missing. What would you guys change here? Obviously, I have to make the drums and stuff more electronic, but otherwise.
