That really makes me sad, such a talented girl-Sabine. Has anyone heard of such a thing?

It says she had a brain hemorrhage during band practice. That's a pretty serious thing, I'm wondering if it was an aneurysm, but either way it's very sad.

Elis are one of the best female-fronted gothic metal bands out there. At a minimum I hope they release their newly recorded album. Very sad, indeed.

They are known outside Germany, just not like mainstream bands like Lacuna Coil. You may find some record stores carry an Elis album. Their first album was the greatest. Her voice was just so captivating. Never heard anything like it. They remind me of another German band Regicide.

that really sucks! I interviewed her a couple of years ago, and she was super nice. heard them play at Summer Breeze once too. now I wish I'd gotten some pictures of their set
