This is my second favorite Elvenking album. I am a huge fan of this band because their sound is unique and I'm in love with their lyrics. I definately think their last album, Heathenreel was more impressive than this one. However, that doesn't mean this album is a sign of this band going down hill.
My favorite song off of this album is Moonchariot, because I feel that the lyrics are the most unique, and this song has a different sound than all of the others. For some strange reason, the chorus

Is a slap in the face for me when I'm zoning out. This band has amazing writing skills and they are greatly underrated.
Along with their wonderful lyrics, they also have what sound like fiddles and other folk instruments in their songs. These elements go well with their amazing and unique power metal vocals. Therefore, this CD is worth buying.
