Engl Thunder, any clips or opinions?

Hey all, I've got my eye on a Engl Thunder going for a good price and was wondering if some people could chime in on what they think of the amp? Had a search and couldn't find anything in the way of clips, and obviously I don't want to make a purchase based on youtube videos recorded with laptop camera mic's!

I currently have a Peavey XXX and a Windsor, just looking for another flavour to add to the collection really.

Any experiences you could share would be much appreciated.

Cheers man, I figured you might chime in as you commented on most of the other engl threads, guitars sound beasty! Definitely a different sound to the amps I currently have.

I'm still very tempted by a tiny terror for the more rocky/punky bands I do, but I reckon I would kick myself for missing out on the thunder at this price tbh!

ENGL amps are not that beastly, they never sound RAW or anything, but they work great live and sometimes in a mix.
I think you should go for the thunder because you have an XXX and especialy the Windsor which is very RAW. The Windsor and the thunder would make a killah combi for quad-tracking!!!
