[Maiden Afganistan]

Hope everyone enjoys the 3 day weekend, I'm missing the river right now! Just wanted to ask you all to give thanks to the brave men and women out here in Afghanistan and Iraq as you enjoy your weekend. It is crazy out here! This past week we have lost a soldier, only 18 years old, and have averaged 2-3 vehicles destroyed by IEDs PER DAY! This is just at my little stinkhole! Can't imagine the rest of the country ,as well as Iraq, being any easier on our troops. PLEASE KEEP THESE BRAVE MEN AND WOMEN IN YOUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS AS YOU ENJOY THE WEEKEND!!

I celebrated Memorial Day by attending All American Week at Fort Bragg. Here are some pics of me at one of the displays outside of the 82nd Airborne Division Museum and in front of Iron Mike (A statue that Jane Fonda had the nerve to dishonor by throwing yellow paint on it during the Vietnam War, which is why she is still permanently barred from entering on Fort Bragg, North Carolina (good riddance!)).
