EQ suggestions for Portal

I think they need to start adding horror movie samples, just so people can understand its supposed to be scary, oh oh and I think they need some breakdowns also, oh and some melodic riffs, and some chugs, maybe some djent djent too!
And to ditch the costumes cause some people just think they look funny.
Portal sound fucking good to me, I wouldn't change a thing about them, that's how they want their band to be and its how it is, like it or not its original and you can't say you've heard anything exactly like it.
Sure a load of people won't like them because of it, but I think I'd rather have a small following than the retarded masses drooling at your feet trying to be just like you.

If you're trying to compare them I'd say their are vast differences between them and Portal.

Coming round to Portal too. The live video didn't sell it to me, but their Myspace stuff sounds a bit better. I can only imagine the CD's themselves sounding clearer and more defined.

a few listens of a lossless rip and youll hear it all perfectly
seepia is the only one that is really indecipherable, but the jewel case cd had a different master to the original pressing. i just got the vinyl of seepia yesterday and its aparrently the same (or near the same) master as the original cd. sounds much better and darker rather than having a broken glass high end.
but yeah, i think swarth and outre both sounds fucking brilliant. i dont think its surprising that i couldnt stand them when i tried listening in youtube quality, this shit NEEDS lossless.
I walked into the main stage at a metal festival down here and caught the end of the portal set. First of all, the costume dude was in the hessian bag on head mode I think. One raised hand with leather death glove on. Scared the shit outta me, was not expecting that! The band sounded awesome. The fact he's now onto wearing clocks (yeaaahhh boiii!!!) and the bands moved into new territory is evolutionary and awesome. I dunno if many would 'get' this band until they seen them live. But I did, had heard of them but never actually heard them before.
