ESP ECLIPSE II

First off, great choice! I recently purchased an ESP Eclipse II in Aged Honey Burst, and it's become my favorite guitar for low tunings. My suggestion would be to find an Eclipse II near you, either on Ebay or in a music store. The new E-II's are supposed to be the same thing as last year's high end LTDs, which means slightly less quality. I've never played a CTM I, as they don't sell them in the US, but I've heard nothing but amazing things about them. The 4 knob-LP style is awesome, and they come in full thickness versions which could be cool for low end thickness, though I think it's mostly aesthetic. I got mine for $1600, which is about what you should be spending. I've seen them go for $1900 on Guitar Center, but that's really the most you should pay. The new E-II's are similar in price yet not in quality, so stay away from those! Hope this helped.

1600$ are 1158,44 euros is exactly the price the guy here is asked me for a esp-eclipse II black satin with all silver binding (rare for him)
not bad at all....

so do you suggest me to buy? here in italy is full of ctm but less with FT. for the auldrich one another guy ask me the same price, no EMG but zebra duncan.

i found also a explorer faded for 700 eiuros and a LP Custom white alpine with emg this one for 2610,41 USD

don't know what to choose

I would definitely suggest the ESP. That particular model is freaking badass! I'd kill for one of those over here. As for the other models, it's all preference, but personally, I hate explorers. Just don't feel right. The LP Custom might be a great guitar, but the Gibson's quality control has been down the drain recently so I doubt it. (Not to mention it's twice as expensive!) Also- a Gibson with EMG's? I played EMG's for years until I switched to Seymour Duncans, and then to Bare Knuckles. Any guitar with EMG's is going to sound basically the same. That's nice for cheap guitars, but kind of lame for the expensive ones, like you're looking at. You might want to do some research on whichever guitar you go with and find a pickup that will suit it! It's definitely worth the time and money. Anyway, at the end of the day, it's all about personal preference. Which one feels the best to you? Which does your gut tell you to go with? Which one are you gonna race home from the music store to play for hours on end? Those are all very different guitars, so they'll all feel very different. My vote is the ESP, 100%, unless the LP seems like it's absolutely worth the money. Post whichever one you choose!

Plus if you ever want to sell the ESP, you have a buyer waiting! ;)

In Sweden they usually go for 1000$ to 1300$. I think that's a great price for what u get. Horizons are usually a lot more expensive but thats probably because they are a lot more rare here than Eclipses.
