BC Rich are my new preference. Such an old post, I ended up not getting an ESP and spending the money on a cheap guitar and guitar amp and something else, and took me too long to get a decent one. I have 2 BCRs now and they kick ass.
Warwicks are the nicest basses I've ever played though.

one day i hope to own a USA made jackson i've heard nothing but good things about them i also own an ibanez RG570Ex and im thinking of selling it and buying a jackson instead can any one recommend a jackson around the £700/$700 mark.

I think you can get an RR for that...they seem cool and i have heard good stuff...If you dont like V's go with the Dinky!!
