when ive been watching espn lately, i keep seeing promo's for... lacrosse maybe??? but point is, they are playing ADTR in the background. pretty cool. did you know about this joey? seems pretty big time to me that music youve recorded is being picked up by ESPN.

i didnt record a day to remember

but almost every band i record get's "publishing" treatment which is sorta like syndication for tv shows...

when an album is done, they have me make instrumentals, and someone buys the rights to use those in shows, commercials, whatever

i've heard a few that were really odd

like a famous football player had a promo for some sort of workshop and a song i produced was in the background. but the team who put it all together made really poor editing choices, so like in the middle of a verse it just cuts to the chorus and sounds real goofy lol

ah my bad. i thought you did.

anyhow, i know what you are talking about. most of the time with audio going to visual, you get people who dont really care if there is good audio or not. whether that is poorly recorded audio to a segment, or just bad edits like you refer to. i guess thats because to the general population, visuals are more important then audio.
