for myself I like TooL...old metallica ...a bit of AC/DC
some hits of the beatles for sure...The doors, Sabbath...Ozzy in his big time with randy ..I like system of a down too ...The guitarist is so funny

heh you say "outside black metal" as if it was the only kind of metal...
i listen primarily to heavy and power metal, i'd say an equal share of both
i listen to CoB more than most bands i like, but i listen to more heavy and power bands than black metal

i listen to basically everything except techno and mainstream rap. the pre blingbling era rap and underground rap are ok.

i dont really even consider COB black metal, honestly. they really are a bit harder to classify than many bands. i think melodic/neo-classical/black/death haha. anyway, i listen to tons of stuff, all except nu metal, rap, techno, along with all popular radio stuff and the likes

Though I hear tons of music styles, mostly melodic, including classical music.

Hendrix is my spiritual guitar mentor, so if theres an all time favourite of mine, its him
