Hmm I don't listen to much music... the Black League, Sinergy, In Flames, Sentenced, and Ayreon are the only bands I listen to with any real frequency. The Black League kick fuckin ass! Oh yeah, and Joe Satriani is the coolest guitar player I've ever heard; I really like his stuff.

To Tragedy: if you wanted to classify CoB, every cd would have to be labelled differently...

Here's what I'd say:
SW: Classical black death metal
HB: Heh, too many types... classical black thrash power death metal
FtR: Extreme power metal is a good label for this one
HCD: I'd call this one progressive thrash

BODOMETAL is a great description for sure, but I like to describe them just as a heavy metal band! nothing more than this.

About the bands I listen to, the list is big:

Iron Maiden, Sabbath/Ozzy, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Judas Priest, Joe Satriani, Iced Earth, Gamma Ray, Old Helloween (with Hansen), Pantera, Beatles and so more bands....

I like various kind of metal but what I prefer is folk, viking and black metal with heavy tones. But doom, death, power are also on my list, so basically I listen to everything that picks my interest.

I really love Lake of Tears and My Dying Bride, also some Primordial, Green Carnation, Nevermore, Savatage, Iced Earth, Godgory, Paradise Lost, Fields of the Nephilim.... even some pop-like stuff like Placebo or Hole or Garbage
