Keep track of the build over there. Walnut body with a koa top (paying homage to my hawaiian roots). Maple neck and ebony board, matching koa on the headstock. Hipshot hardtail, what pickups should i get though?

The guys have been amazing to work with and have maintained communication throughout every step of the way. Something I know alot of people struggle with when getting builds from other luthiers. For the quality of work and customization they've allowed me the price is incredibly reasonable.

... and this is me nitpicking: Isn't the neck pickup a bit too far from the fretboard and the bridge pickup a bit too far from the bridge? :/

They demoed out pickup locations in the prototypes and found these to be the most balanced for this guitar and scale length.
