Newly signed to AFM, female-fronted Italian modern metal act Exilia will unleash fourth full-length IN MY ARMY to North American shores on April 21st, 2009.
"We can tell you in advance, 'it rocks!' We're all very excited and I can tell you, this album is the heaviest record since the birth of Exilia," said front woman Masha Mismane, in a statement. "We managed to unleash even more hidden talents of our great guitarist Alien and with the return of our great drummer Ale, there is no lack of power! After a lot of hard work on melodies and lyrics over the past year, I'm also very pleased with the outcome of my vocals. There are definitely unique elements within every song. I wanted to give them an edge whilst maintaining the original and true characteristics of EXILIA. Rock on!"
The album was produced by Dave Chavarri (Ill Nino, Sepultura) and Masha Mysmane, mixed at Temple Studios in L.A. by Jeremy Blair (Fear Factory, Coal Chamber, Guns N' Roses) and Jeff Hannanh (Black Light Burns) and mastered at Sterling Sound in N.Y. by UE Nastasi (Walls Of Jericho, Pantera).
