So a fellow's exotic animals are running wild in Ohio while cops trying to shoot them to save the citizens; all because dude died after he got some kid to handcuff him to the bed for a later man-on-man encounter.

If I was 15 feet away from a goddamn tiger, and it was pissed off and ignoring the big ass tranquilizer dart that I just shot it with....... I'd probably shoot it too.

They can't just let them roam until they can tranquilize all of them. People live near there. And tigers/ lions will fuck you up. So they had to go. This is 100% the fault of the wack job who let them out. I don't think people should be allowed to keep that many dangerous animals anyway. There's no reason for it. And from what I read elsewhere, the dude already had problems and had been in Jail.

Mazolla is mentioned in the first article as a similar incident in 2010, but it's not the same guy. The owner of the animals in the current incident was a Thompson.

I agree with all this. A private citizen should not be trusted with tigers, lions and bears. Its not like the whack job owned and operated a zoo. I expect Ohio to pass some new animal legislation real quick now.

Dudes, there were 17 lions, 18 bengal tigers, and a host of bears and mountain lions. They didn't have the manpower to tranquilize them efficiently. So its either let tigers roam around the neighborhood til they get their turn, with schools nearby, or get rid of them. I'm just as bummed about it, but they did what they had to.

And if this happened in England, 35 lethal cats running around, I'm pretty sure someone would call whoever has all the guns and go to work. No one wants a little kid to get eaten by a tiger.

I see the wisdom in this statement. But what you need to realize is that Americans are savage dogs with no real civilization. If only we could aspire to have a enormous metropolitan city burning while thugs attack innocent bystanders while the police do nothing.

Maybe then we would be more enlightened and are poo would no longer stink.
