EZDrummer - $29.99 at Sweetwater

Hmm.. I already have SSD EX + All expansions..
This could be worth getting for the midi-files alone..
Does it require an iLok or that you have to be online to register the software?
Is it worth getting?
I mean.. I have the slate ones and the awesome samples from this forum..

It's a pretty different sound to Slate stuff tbh. Slate is VERY compressed right off the bat whereas this is nowhere near as processed, so gives you a bit more room to mix it the way you like. Also I'm not a fan of the Slate toms or cymbals personally, whereas the Metalheads ones are fantastic. Seems to be much less hungry for processing power aswell.

You just do a challenge/response online to register. You just need internet access, doesn't even have to be on your studio computer.

Thanks!
I do remember playing with EZ drummer about.. 6 years ago (if it is that old)..
Didn't think it was the right thing for me, back then..
But now, I might just pick it up..

Ahhh, fuck..
Can't deicide.. :D
Looked at Toontracks website and also some YT-vids..
It doesn't seem like you get much, in comparison to e.g. the audiomidi no-brainer deal with SSD EX (15 kits) for 20$..
Though 8000 midi files might be worth it..
Is it worth it by itself? The software.. or do one need the expansions..
I do have SSD EX Gogs.. and hot samples from you guys.. that I could blend in..
Here it costs 119€.. with the deal, it's 20€..
