EZMix 'Mastering' presets - oh god.

Didn't the slate team make a joke out of this concept some time ago? That was some good shit.

Anyway, altough I remain extremely sceptical of these things, I have to say: if the settings in those presets are transparent, I can imagine people picking up some techniques from it, so in a way it may not be so bad for AE's starting out.
But if it's just a preset called "Metal cool everything louder", that goes out of the window.

Costs the same as what I got T-racks 3 for. Granted it was on sale but this does not seem nearly as useful...

I still don't know how I feel about ez-mix and all subsequent expansions. It may help the kids and bedroom warriors get their stuff to sound better but I think people who are serious will eventually recognize the value in hiring professionals.

Yep, the entire business model is to make musicians think that they don't need audio engineers anymore, they just need to buy their plugins.

The problem being that A: that's not how audio works and B: musicians are the ones who are more likely to crack plugins instead of paying for them.
