dont really like the guitar tone, to me it sounds a little too fake, but again this might be a production choice,

dcb: thanks for the comments and yes, the clipping on the drums is a production choice. There's a parallel drum compression bus where the compressor is overdriven and also a parallel bus with a distortion plugin just for the drums.

The guitars are currently the free JCM900 plugin sent to an additional distortion plugin and running through a parallel bus with a heavy limiter and an EQ on it to give it more bite (which brings out the fakeness in an aggressive way). With this project I am trying to achieve a sound that's recognizeable which is why I am trying to go for a non-standard guitar sound. This is the first test and I will probably try to get some reamped tones mixed in there to see what can be done.

it actually could sound more "destroyed"
