"Falling Off The Edge Of The World"

If you are totally un-aware of this song :erk: , this is by the Dio-fronted Black Sabbath on The Mob Rules album. I just think that this song is a total masterpiece. Not to take anything away from the rest of the album as I think it is great, but this song is just a piece of work by the band. Dio, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Vinnie Appice all shine out amazingly on this song. I wish Dio would throw this song into his setlist (in it's ENTIRETY!) It needs to be heard!

Awesome song!:worship: :kickass:

It is definately awesome, and one of the best, though I hold it in equal esteem to the following:
Sign of The Southern Cross
Over And Over
Lonely is the Word (from Heaven and Hell)

....all Sabbath/Dio masterpieces. Huge and atmospheric.

My group Electric Funeral The Ultimate tribute to Black Sabbath plays the up-tempo portion of the song. We tie it in with Heaven and Hell before the last sequence. We also do the same with Meglomainia " inside of Snowblind. It is so much fun to swing from one song to the next like that. It gives us a chance to showcase our talent. Only certin songs can be done like this!

Have only had the priveledge to listen to this album once. Went over to a buddies house and was going through a stack of unused vinyl records sitting in a corner and discovered he had an original printing of mob rules in his posession. It was his Dads back in the day. I demanded we pop it it. So a few of us just sat on a futon and listened to it straight through on his big ole stereo system. Was a great way to wrap up the day. Truly a great album.

Those songs are classics too. It really does amaze me how good the 3 Dio/Sab studios are. Not because the members aren't talented, far from it. It's just that those albums are just perfection, from beginning to end. And you just really can't say that about too many releases that are out!
